What is the best natural black hair dye?

I tried a natural black loreal preference, but its fading really fast (however, this could be due to the shamp/cond i was using). I'm not sure if I want to buy that brand again, so I'd like opinions on the different brands you've tried. Please include why you like it, ie: How fast did it fade? Did it dry out your hair?

What is the best natural black hair dye?

There is no such thing unfortunately. You can tell a black hair dye a mile off, sorry, but good luck trying to find one anyway.

I've got naturally black hair and it's lovely and my sister has red hair which is equally as nice but I dye mine red and she dyes hers black! It just goes to show, we all go through stages of wanting something else.

What is the best natural black hair dye?

try henna

What is the best natural black hair dye?

henna dye from lush. luk on da lush webby and see if der is a store near u. their henna dyes last long and are completely natural..deyr great. gud luk sweetii xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

What is the best natural black hair dye?

i think that expensive makes like loreal or nice and easy fade realy fast. im now brown but ive had loads of black colours through the years. i found that the cheaper, less popular ones work the best, like schwartz. some black colours can look like plastic or can dry your hair though.

What is the best natural black hair dye?

use henna dyes. they are natural and add moisture.

you can find them basically anywhere.

What is the best natural black hair dye?

Get a perminent color. But beware black is very hard to get out if you change your mind.

Curling hair-ghd's?

I have the perfect site for you: http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_hier...

go here and you'll find exactly how to curl your hair with a straightener. The T3 straighteners almost parallel in style with GHD's.

I recommend using the GHD's brand hair products also.

Hope this helps!

Curling hair-ghd's?

ghd have their own brand hair protection. I bought it with mine and find it the best. tresemme is a con it makes my hair all dry and feeling sticky

Curling hair-ghd's?

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

Loreal, Garnier Fructis and Herbal Essences?

I recently got highlights in my hair (no bleach) and am debating if i should wash it today. The last time i washed it was the day before yesterday... and I want to wash it today but I heard washing it too much with "cheap brands" will strip them right off? So would Loreal Vive! be cheap? And if so, what do you recommend I use? I was thinking Biolage, is that a good one?

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

When I think of cheap brands, I immediately think of Pantene, which is awful and coats your hair in wax. If you want to stay away from cheap, then go for something you can only get in a salon. But honestly, I have tried various shampoos and Garnier Fructis is hands down the best shampoo I've used on my hair. And it smells great too!

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

Use Herbal Essences or Johnson's Baby Shampoo.

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

its shouldn't take the colour out, it may fade it a little bit, but not totally remove it

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

anything you can get at the grocery store or Walmart is considered cheap. Go to an inexpensive hair salon if you worried about cost. You can usually get a promotional shampoo/conditioner of better quality for around $15. Yes, you are safe to wash your hair.

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

I don't think they're cheap brands. My favorite shampoo and conditioner is Garnier Fructis!

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

I don't think they are cheap brands. I use L'Oreal Vive %26amp; I love it. Herbal Essences actually keeps my hair healthy - my stylist noticed how much healthier it looked after using it. I'm not the biggest fan of Garnier Fructis though.

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

No they are not cheap. It's highlights they are supposed to go they dont stay on forever.

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

Yes, they are the lower price hair product.

Any salon product would be ok for you if you have normal hair. I use Mario Tricoci just because I get my hair cut and color there.

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

They have shampoo's for dyed hair, and blonde hair, to keep the color locked in. Check into those if your really concerned about keeping your coloring intact, and as healthy as you can. Go to any hair salon and ask, they usually have them in the store and you can buy them there. Some are even sold at Walmart.

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

i love Biolage. do not get loreal vive, i hated it.

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

Loreal would be a good one to use. Make sure you buy the shampoo for colored hair. You can also buy Nexxus at retail stores now and it's far from a "cheap brand".

I would suggest that you go to a salon and buy from there. With the better quality shampoos, you use less.

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

Ok, so here's the scoop. There aren't really any brands that are considering shockingly cheap. I mean, there are, but that kind of narrows it down to a few. Shampoos do different things. Some give you volume or a nice lift, and others are for dandruff. Either way, the main principle of shampoo is that it cleans your hair. For you, because of your highlights, I would strongly reccomend that you use a shampoo especially for colored or treated hair. It doesn't really even have to be a special, expensive brand...just one that has color treated written on it. I know L'oreal has shampoos like that and if you want, you can buy an expensive brand. It really is up to you and what you want for your hair!

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

I like Garnier. Herbal essence just smells good. Try infusium. nexxus too, espescially Humectress Conditoner. It will Change your life lol

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

pureology, redkin, paul mitchell are some of the better brands. and unless you got really crapy highlights they shouldn't drasticly fade in one wash, it should happen gradually. i wouldn't buy any shampoos from wal-mart or rite-aid go to a place that sell professional products that you can trust, because you never know the kind of reaction those knock offs are going to have on your colored hair.

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

No, those aren't consider cheap brands. Suave and White Rain are examples of cheap shampoos. Your highlights should stay. Use L'Oreal or Garnier the Dove line, John Frieda, etc. Some of the so-called cheap products are just as good as the expensive, I use Alberto quite a bit. Right now I'm using John Frieda. It's pretty much trial and error when it comes to shampoo. Just don't use any dandruff shampoos such as Head and Shoulders or Sebulex, they can strip color from the hair.

Are these considered "Cheap brands"?

the color shouldn't come out right away it might tone down but thats it

My hair is very brittle. Maybe a pixie cut? what should I do?

My hair is very dry, because it was overbleached by a stylist who made an error basically. I was using a Loreal Professional deep conditioner everyday, but it is expensive and annoying to use everyday.

I am thinking of getting a pixie haircut like Mia Farrow. Do you think I should do that to get the damage off? What should I ask for in trying to get this haircut, as well as to get it to look feminine and not manly? I don't want it to look masculine. I heard it is called gamine? Are there any instructions or thorough pictures on the internet of modern pixies? I looked at Mia Farrow's and it seems a bit outdated. I have a round face. Thanks.

My hair is very brittle. Maybe a pixie cut? what should I do?

You know, look for a happy medium. Get the brittle ends cut off and have you hair styled in a shoulder length that has long layers. Also have your hair conditioned professionally in a good beautiy salon; and let them slowly restore your hair taking out the brassiness of the blond over bleaching maybe with a henna rinse which is a natural product. You may have to have darker hair for a while, but it is worth it as your hair will be eventually restored with shine and body. If you want to do it yourself, all I can say is go to a Beauty supply store and ask the salesperson for a deep conditioner that will restore your hair that you only have to use once a week. Believe me they know and they sell to beauty salons. You can also buy henna rinses at the beauty supply store too and do it yourself.

My hair is very brittle. Maybe a pixie cut? what should I do?

you should go to a professinal and ask . But washing your hair every day is not good for your hair.

My hair is very brittle. Maybe a pixie cut? what should I do?

A good cut always revitalizes the hair.... My suggestion is to get it cut, styled, and deep conditioned by a professional stylist. Stop coloring and use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Trust me, don't skimp out and get advice for the salon. Wash Your hair every 2-3 days, shampooing too much dries out the strands and the scalp.

My hair is very brittle. Maybe a pixie cut? what should I do?

Get your hair cut stop bleaching it and there is shampoo that you can buy that strenghtens your hair but I'm sorry I can't remember the name

So, I dyed my hair black...w/ facial hair...?

I really don't like the way it came out at all. I dyed my eyebrows and my sideburns/beard along with my hair. It turned out black w/ a blue tint, which really I'm going to get yelled at work for.

I've seen all these ads for color removers (Color Oops, One 'n Only ColorFix, etc)

I'm not really worried about using it on my head, because if it turns out horrible I can just shave it. What I'm really concerned about is my eyebrows, is there anyway I can get the color out besides straight up shaving them? I know they say these products can cause blindness, but I'm not worried about that at all because the dye had no effect near my eyes with the eyebrows dyed.

So, what can I do? No salon in town will touch eyebrows with dye or chemicals. Will the color eventually fade? I used a Loreal jet black dye. Think I can use a color remover on them without them falling out or turning a bunch of odd colors?

So, I dyed my hair black...w/ facial hair...?

im not a pro with hair dye but i guess you can bleach them and redye them your natural color

So, I dyed my hair black...w/ facial hair...?

Thanks for the laugh - lol - I can just picture it... you look a mess! and have to go to work! I can't stop laughing... what in the world would make you want to dye everything - lol

Ok... breathe, I would keep washing my hair, just keep washing it, the color should fade and be ok for now, until it grows out. I was told at least 2wk waiting period...

Hopefully a beautician will answer this for you... Thanks for the laughs (with you, not at you)... you should show a pic.

So, I dyed my hair black...w/ facial hair...?

Okay, dude, what were you thinking? You should've tried out a rinse-out version first! But hey, that's how we learn, right?Okay,so you're gettin' dissed for the color?Get over it!The color will fade while stupid,on the other hand, will not.Don't shave your brows, unless you want to look like a real fool.TL

So, I dyed my hair black...w/ facial hair...?

the blue tint will fade out in a few days, just wash your hair in hott water and shampoo it twice before you put on conditioner, and in a few days it will be a regular black, not that black with a blue shine

Does this stuff work?

I was wondering if the products like herbal essences straightening spray and the loreal studioline hot straight straightening cream actually work? Do you use them? I striaghten my hair everyday but by the end its not straight anymore, any tips to help it stay straight. What other products are there out their? I use herbal essences pin straight shampoo. Also any hairstyles that are easy but don't get in the way (i hate when its covering half my face), i only have a limited amount of time to get ready in time. My hair goes to about halfway above my elbow. Please help, thanks!

Does this stuff work?

I JUST BOUGHT THE HERBAL ESSENCES STRAIGHTENING SPRAY. BEST THING I HAVE EVVVERRR USED!!!!! IT IS FANTASTIC!!!!WORKS GREAT!!!! it's called "dangerously striaght" straightening spray. it workds soooo good

Does this stuff work?

they dont usually work for me, but after you straighten you hair, blow your hair with cold air from the blow dryer because it seals the cuticle of your hair and keeps moisture out, which makes your hais curly by the end of the day.

Does this stuff work?

Yeah they work.

Does this stuff work?

i put paul mitchell supper skinny serum in my hair (one spqirt when its wet), then brush it as i blow dry it. , then i straighten it by layers (bottom to top), befor i straighten each section i spray it with paul mitchell freeze and shine super spray. then when i got it all straightened i use a small palm full ofl'oreal studio hotstraight.

it works wonders for my hair, and i find it dont matter what shampoo i use. the two paul mitchell products i got from a professional hair dresser (they were kinda pricey but last a long time !) and i got the l'orel stuff from walmart :).and the straightner i usew isnt verry good ,its only a 25$ one lol

good luck

loreal xtenso cerathermic

wellastrate

redken vertical

shwartzkopf glatt straight

Chemical hair straightening!!!?

keeping in mind it doesn't last forever...

don't waste your money. what's wrong with non straight hair.

Chemical hair straightening!!!?

Just buy a good straightener and have somebody do it for you at home or you do it or go to the salon and have them straighten it. But i wouldn't do it chemically that is worst for your hair i think...
