bleach it...obviouslly it is really damaging though. But what to do?? if you want your hair a different color from your natural hair it is going to damage it.

How about going to a professional salon? The at-home color kits hardly ever work properly - if not because of cheap chemicals, then due to human error.
Shell out a couple extra bucks for fabulous color and less damage to your hair.

Generally, blonde turns brassy if there was too much gold in the hair. Gold is revealed when you lighten your hair. Quell that by using an ash shade, or, if you really want ultra PB blonde, try beige blonde.
Continue with just root applications. Allow the colour to wash over your ends during 5 minutes in the shower with a bit of warm water.
I really liked Superior Preference when I was going uber blonde. I used the very light beige blonde shade (with Heather Locklear on the box.)
Source: I've had all hair colours myself, including PB blonde, and dye my friends' hair as well.

I'm not familiar with superblonde, is it a bleach or a hair dye? if its a bleach you could try leaving it on for a few additional minutes.
You could also try using a toner to tone out the brassy color by coloring over your blonde hair with a blonde dye that hair a purple base like a level 9V blonde, or buy a shampoo called Shimmer Lights. You can buy it at Sally's and it is a dark purple colored shampoo that you can use (i recommed mixing it with your regular shampoo) to help minimize the brass.

id advise to go to a salon you could really damage your hair by bleaching because you never did it before

sounds like the colour ur using doesnt have a high enough level of peroxide to lift the colour outta ur hair - i advise going to a hairdresser.
also if ur hairs going brassey means it needs ash tones being put bk into the hair.
try using a shampoo by matrix called So Silver - it deposits ash tones bk into the hair helping get rid of orange tones.

To get that color you have to do it professionally and in a few sessions. They will slowly lighten it up, and it creates less damage.
