Should i bleach my hair?

i dyed my hair blonde, which my natural hair color is dark blonde, i usually bleach it through a cap, this time i waited a long time to bleach again, so my roots grew out, about 6in which ended up being dark, and the rest of my hair light, so i colored it this time instead of bleaching, the top of my hair is kind of brassy, i've colored 3times, this week, to try to achieve the top lighter, not brassy, i should have just bleached it again to begin with, to start with, because the top was 2 dark, for color to lighten all the way, anyways, my hair looks pretty good right now, looks like a pretty natural blonde, except for the top, kind of brassy, i hate that!! should i bleach a few highlights through the top, not the bottom so it will blend better? if so what should i use, i've used loreal preference extra lite ash blonde so far, used ash so it would elimated some of the gold tones, which turned out pretty good, except a little brassyonly on top, please help thanxs

if it is looking brassy on top, then maybe you should just bleach it and have a fresh start, or you could try to dye it back to its natural color and then wait about two weeks and then bleach it through a cap, but just keep in mind not to dye or bleach it too frequently. you will fry it and that's never fun. believe me.

Sometimes not always you can remove the brassiness w/ dish soap sounds funny but it can really work. If that does not I would say to see a stylist you dont want to fry your hair...do you?

Should i bleach my hair?

Absolutely not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It might look ugly on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should i bleach my hair?

no dont do it you will regret

Be careful with this, becaude the more you mess with your hair and the more damaged it gets, the more likely that the tone will continue to be inconsistant and brassy. My little sister is in the same situation as you, a natural dark blonde, who dyes her hair light blonde and she gets hers professionally done. When you're working with dramatic changes like with, going pro if the best way because so long as you're doing it at home, you're increasing your chances of disaster

Should i bleach my hair?

bleaching will spoil your hair. if u want to damage ur hair then u can go for bleaching

the product you're using might not be strong enough and you should only do the roots not the rest of your hair, then you should use a toner to remove the brassy colour and at last minute put toner all through to the ends this will give you an even look and no brass at all, i recommend going to a hair dresser as they will do a proper job and condition your hair to keep it looking better for longer i also recommend touch ups every 4 -6 wks, using a cap is not a nice look and its out dated, foils are the way to go, you can even go for low light's to blend in with your natural hair colour, ask your hairdresser.
