Can i use loreal excellence cream haircolor?

im only 15 and i just wanted a darker color hair so i was gonna use that but i think its for like gray hair so would it be ok to use on my hair? any has anyone had experience with this brand??????

Can i use loreal excellence cream haircolor?

It's a very good PERMANENT hair dye... that means it will change the color of your hair, and won't wash out like a semi-permanent or temporary hair coloring product. The only way to get rid of it is to either cut off the dyed portion or cover it with another permanent shade.

If you're experimenting with colors, you might want to try a semi-permanent dye. This is the kind that gradually washes out in 4-6 hair washes. It gives you a good idea of what your hair would look like with a new color, but you're not stuck with it, and you won't have to put your hair through another chemical process to lighten it.

A temporary hair dye washes out after one hair washing.

L'Oreal products are very good; they make all three types of hair dyes in many, many shades. They also have a great help phone line and internet site if you want advice.

Can i use loreal excellence cream haircolor?

it will not hurt your hair...

Can i use loreal excellence cream haircolor?

It works really well. I know cuz my mom uses it. She doesn't use it for gray hair. She just uses it to touch up her dye.

Can i use loreal excellence cream haircolor?

okay well, im thirteen and i have litterally dyed my hair about 10 times, and you can use that beacause it WILL change your color :) even if it will cover grays, it wont have to do that 4 u

Can i use loreal excellence cream haircolor?

if your hair is not altered it will be fine but touch ups need a pro

Can i use loreal excellence cream haircolor?

It's good stuff, but it is pretty much made to cover grays, so it has a stronger dye in it than most color kits. If you want something a little more natural, and a lot less risky, just use a kit for highlights. You can use it all over, but it would look prettier if you stick with the instructions and do all over highlights. It's a lot less risky because the color isn't as strong, but you still get great results.

Can i use loreal excellence cream haircolor?

It will work even without gray in your hair. I do think the best bet if you're going darker is a demi or semi-permanent color. They have no ammonia or peroxide usually, so they leave you hair a lot healthier. Some brands have a ceramide base(like Matrix Colorsync) that actually conditions your hair and equalizes the damaged spots so they take the color uniformly. I prefer these demipermanents because the color looks shinier and more dimensional, and you only need peroxide if you're goung lighter, anyway.

Can i use loreal excellence cream haircolor?

I've used it, it's fine.

Actually, of the brands I've tried, I noticed that loreal made my hair the softest afterwards

Can i use loreal excellence cream haircolor?

it'll be fine. Be sure to follow directions!

What type of dye should I buy?

i have realli dark brown hair...like almost black...and i want to make it a lighter brown. Not realli light just enough so that it is not black and its brown.

what type should i buy?....i was thinking the loreal one looks like a good type.

no. i dont want to go to the salon to get it done. i kno wen you do you get better results but im onli talking about buying dye right now.

What type of dye should I buy?

if you already have color in your hair, then only your new roots will be the new color that you buy.....you would have to strip the color out, and that is only done by a professional.....if your hair is natural then go to sally beauty supply and match your hair color to the samples they have there and find the number that goes with it, then pick the number you want and do it. use at least a 20 volume peroxide. good luck.

What type of dye should I buy?

You're going to need one that says 'high-lift' - a regular box dye won't lift (lighten) your hair enough. I think Garnier 100% Colour has some of these, as does L'Oreal Preference. It'll have a little picture of dark 'before' hair somewhere near the top.

Loreal Paris color pulse?

Does this stuff really wash out? I have very dark blonde hair and I finally grew my highlights out! I got sick of them so I got my hair colored my natural color and then I just got it cut so now I have 100 percent my natural color, but I want highlights for the summer and I don't want to go through what I just did again. So does it really rinse out? Awesome! Thanks!

Loreal Paris color pulse?

YES IT DOES. I TRIED IT

Loreal Paris color pulse?

Yes it does, i use it too

What do you think of ION from Sally's Beauty Supply?

I asked a question about Loreal Vive Pro, But I think I might like ION better...does anyone know how much it costs? Do you think it would work good for curly hair?

What do you think of ION from Sally's Beauty Supply?

hate their straightener, i bought it and i regreted it, i have the pink chi now, way better.

What do you think of ION from Sally's Beauty Supply?

ion is a very good brand. all the products that i have tried from them so far have been excellent, and they havent been too expensive. make sure you buy a sally's card. it saves you a ton of money in the long run.

What do you think of ION from Sally's Beauty Supply?

I think it is not that expensive.

ya, it will work good for the curly hair.

What do you think of ION from Sally's Beauty Supply?

I got a sample pack.. from sallys a Ion brand and it can be used to straighten hair.. and it worked kinda felt werid.. but then it was less curly afterwards and a lot easier to straighten and the sample packet was a couple bucks

Loreal Silver Shampoo (purple shampoo)?

How long do I have to massage this into my hair for before it will actually take away the yellow tinge thats in my blonde?

I don't want to waste it, but I also don't want to leave it on for so long that my hair goes silver!

Loreal Silver Shampoo (purple shampoo)?

Massage it into your scalp and work to the ends and let it sit for 5 minutes. Unless your hair is extremely brassy this should be enough time to take away the brassiness. If you don't get the desired results add 5 more minutes the next time but don't go over 15 because you can actually end up with a bluish tint if left on too long.

Loreal Silver Shampoo (purple shampoo)?

u just lather it up like norm shampoo - leave on for 5 mins and yeah. only leave it on for 5 mins tho - i used matrix so silver shampoo which is the same as loreal's 1 and my hair went grey. but it does work and does make hair look blonde.

Loreal Silver Shampoo (purple shampoo)?

hi just use it like normal shampoo it wont actually turn your hair silver it just tones the yellow out ... its fab enjoy the results. Lx

Loreal Silver Shampoo (purple shampoo)?

Your hair won't go silver--it's just made to take undesireable yellow and orange tinges out of either blond or grey hair. So wash away without fear.

Loreal Silver Shampoo (purple shampoo)?

Just use it like normal shampoo. If it starts to absorb too much of the drabber or blue tint just use it every other time you shampoo or mix it with regular shampoo. If your hair is lightened or bleached it is porus and will absorb more of the color.

Loreal Color Rays?

I'm interested in the purple color, and I have dark brown hair. A couple questions:

1) Does this particular hair color system wash out over time, or does it have to grow out (permanent, semi-permanent)?

2) Any personal experiences with the product/ color, good or bad?

Thanks!

Loreal Color Rays?

Color Rays isn't permanent. I wouldn't use it though, because those kits never work well. A friend of mine used a similar kit that was meant to give her hair a certain tint, and her hair looked like someone had thrown up on it.

Loreal pulse dye on dirty blondes?

i've been looking at the Chilled Plum for a while now, and my mom has finally decided to be open about the whole dye thing in general. but i look at the back of the box, and there is no example of what my hair might look like when i've dyed it. will it be so bright (because my hair is lighter) that it will be pink?

i'm going to do a test patch also, where should i do that so that it won't be seen ever?

Loreal pulse dye on dirty blondes?

i think b/c your hair is light it will come out the RIGHT color, but u never know what it will look like even if it has a guide

PS

thanks for ansering my question , i like the idea of lyrics on my shoe, i didnt even think of that!

Loreal vive smooth intense?Have YOU tried it?It is worth 5 stars or less?I want to try because of th

If not, recommend a shampoo and conditioner for quite dry, and maybe frizzy. A leave in conditioner along with your answer would be nice. Also, i have wavy, kind of curly hair. I HATE straight hair, unless im blow-drying it for a special occasion. please and thank you in advance!!!!!

Loreal vive smooth intense?Have YOU tried it?It is worth 5 stars or less?I want to try because of the smell.?

yes, yes yes! I have it and it def. helps with my poofy an frizzy hair. Hope I help. :]

You could also try sunsilk defrizz line. It really does help too, keeps my hair smooth and silky.

Loreal vive smooth intense?Have YOU tried it?It is worth 5 stars or less?I want to try because of the smell.?

To get some actual reviews, just log on to drugstore.com and search "Loreal Vive." =)

Loreal vive smooth intense?Have YOU tried it?It is worth 5 stars or less?I want to try because of the smell.?

Yes but I prefer Paul Mitchell

Loreal vive smooth intense?Have YOU tried it?It is worth 5 stars or less?I want to try because of the smell.?

I used to use Loreal Vive Smooth Intense shampoo and conditioner, and for the price it worked very nicely. I have a similar hair type, and I felt that it kept the frizz down without weighing my hair down as well. I now use Biolage Moisture Intense shampoo and conditioner, and am in love. I damaged my hair through repeated dying, and this brand completely rejuvenated it, and now my hair is softer than before. The only con is how expensive it is, but I feel that its worth it.

Loreal color pulse or conair pro-color accents?

i just want some temporary color in my hair.

i just want to know which one of these peorducts works better.

my hair is medium brown

Loreal color pulse or conair pro-color accents?

loreal color pulse works really well. pluse it comes in lots of cool colors.

Loreal color pulse or conair pro-color accents?

conair pro color accents works really well but when you put it on your hair would feel oily and theres this goopy feeling. but it looks cool. loreal color pulse is actually really cool as well. But when I used it...its not so temporary. it looks natural but takes forever to get out of your hair. took me like a year and 1/2!

I would choose conair pro color accents plus it comes right off when you shower!

Hairspray and Mousse?

What is good haircare brand that sells good mousse and hairspray. How about herbal essences garnier sauve dove loreal frizzeasy? Are these good or is there anything else? I mostly need for when I'm curling my hair cause its naturally straight.

Hairspray and Mousse?

Well, my hair is really stubborn and is somehow between straight and wavy, and if I curl it, after 5 minutes it will be back to normal again. I use herbal essences, but if you want to control your hair, I would go with pantene. After using that blowdry it, curl it, and then put on mousse then hairspray. The mousse should let it keep it's shape, and the hairspray should let your hair hold for afew hours. Maybe even a day depending on the type of hair you have. Hope I helped!

Hairspray and Mousse?

Herbal essences is awesome!

It smells soo good and it works like a charm.

Some other good products that i like to use is this hairspray called "big sexy hiar" i used it for when i have my dance recital and it stayed right in!

hope it works! =]

Hairspray and Mousse?

Have you tried Paul Mitchell products? They have excellent products and smell great! They sell them in drug stores too, which is cheaper and works just as well as if you had bought em in a salon. Another great product is Sebastian No.9 leave in hair treatment. This really works wonders on my hair and would recommend it to everyone.

Hairspray and Mousse?

Herbal Essences is good.

Also VO5 has came out with a new line of styling products. At first I thought it was going to just be... not so great because they are pretty cheap. But i tried it out just to see if it worked and they do! Lovely smell and perfect hair spays, mousses, exc.

Hairspray and Mousse?

you should try pantene the mousse makes your hair stay the way it is and there hairspray males your soft.Plus it smells real good.

Anybody tried Loreal color PULSE mousse dye thingy?

yeah so i was wondering if i should buy it....my hair is like black and i wanted the brown colored dye..im not sure if it will really work on my hair....but anyways did u use it, and was it good? did it damage your hair or anything..?

Anybody tried Loreal color PULSE mousse dye thingy?

I used it. I have light brown hair and I used Hot Mahogany. It works really well and your hair actually feels softer and healthier after using it. On the inside package it tells you what colors would work best for your color hair. The only problem I had with it (both times I used it) was that a few days later I got a huge zit on my scalp as gross as it sounds. The same thing happened to my friend using the exact same color and product. But other than that I'd reccomend it to anybody it's great and it didn't really start fading for a couple days. After it faded it gradually lost color and my hair had a redish tint for about a month.

Anybody tried Loreal color PULSE mousse dye thingy?

i haven't tried it but i really really want to. i've never dyed my hair before and i think that because it's targeted toward the younger crowd and not permanent, it won't be very damaging. if you try it, please let me know how it went. thanks!

Anybody tried Loreal color PULSE mousse dye thingy?

I used the black, but my hair is Strawberry Blonde, so it did'nt work that well. My hair was to .light. Im not sure if it'll work with your hair. black hair is kinda hard to lighten. good luck!

Anybody tried Loreal color PULSE mousse dye thingy?

I have used L'oreal Hair Products for a couple of decades and never had any problems. As far as I am concerened they are at the top of the list. Very little smell, no itching of the scalp, no irritation to the skin. Works great.

I noticed that I come across as very pale in photos. I want to change my foundation and powder. Idea

I have naturally ivory skin with a yellow tint. (My ancenstry is Sicilian, Portuguese, Hungarian, Danish and English.) My hair is naturally darkest brown, but I colour it a dark burgundy. I had previously been using Loreal True Match (W2) and Coty Loose Power-translucent extra coverage.

Today I purchased Almay's smart shade light, colorless makeup and almay nearly nude loose powder light.

I think I made a mistake though.

What would be an ideal makeup combo for a 31-year-old woman who wants a smooth complexion without looking ghastly in photos?

I can't find the ideal makeup shade. I always notice the contrast between naked skin and makeup, whether it be noticing that my face and neck are paler than the rest of my body, or slightly more yellow or pinkish!

Is there a chance that the makeup combination that I bought today isn't a completely horrible idea?

I noticed that I come across as very pale in photos. I want to change my foundation and powder. Ideas? Advice?

Hi there,

The problem is twofold on this. In photographs, the flash from the camera actually creates the ghostly look to your skin- the light reflects off the powder. The solution is to actually use less product. Many women are afraid that they'll look pimply or shiny without extra powder, but the flash actually helps disguise bumps and wrinkles. Just put concealer where you need it, then use a light dusting of loose powder.

To have the skin on your face match the skin on your body, you need to match your foundation to your neck, not to your cheek or wrist as you may have been taught. This creates a unifying effect and a natural look. Your best bet is to go to a professional makeup counter for your foundation, concealer, and powder (I love Lancome). BUT don't just buy it the instant they put it on you. Leave the store, go into natural light, and take a picture with a digital camera. Walk around with it in the mall for 30 minutes and look at it in lots of different light. Then, if you adore it, go back and buy it.

Good luck!

I noticed that I come across as very pale in photos. I want to change my foundation and powder. Ideas? Advice?

Just go tanning about 3 times every week for a while, if you just change your powder or foundation, you'll see lines because your natural skin isn't the same as your foundation/powder. Its not good for your skin to use powder or foundation because it drys out your skin A LOT! Trust me I've learned the hard way. Good Luck 閳?br>I noticed that I come across as very pale in photos. I want to change my foundation and powder. Ideas? Advice?

Get an all-over bronzer for your face and body or, if you just want to color your face, which is kinda stupid, get a powder bronzer. Victoria's Secret has a great bronzer but you could just go to a drugstore (Banana Boat Spray-On works great).

Hope I helped.

I noticed that I come across as very pale in photos. I want to change my foundation and powder. Ideas? Advice?

Covergirl has some of the best products

I noticed that I come across as very pale in photos. I want to change my foundation and powder. Ideas? Advice?

there are tan sometimes sparkly blushers, /blush and you have to dust it on your cheeks and a little on your nose chin and forehead but not too much

I noticed that I come across as very pale in photos. I want to change my foundation and powder. Ideas? Advice?

In some stores they have the little clinique stations and other brands of make-up have those as well where you can schedule an appointment with an expert if you have time, I'm sure they could help you. It's also a lot of fun and free!! :) What could be better? Good luck.

I noticed that I come across as very pale in photos. I want to change my foundation and powder. Ideas? Advice?

Impossible to say for sure without seeing the makeup and you next to it. However, I would like to recommend a line of makeup that you may find more satisfactory: Dermacia (www.dermaciatv.com)

It sounds like you would need the light kit. It's nice because they provide two shades - one with pink undertones and the other with yellow undertones. You can experiment mixing your own unique color, or just use one or the other. This is professional makeup with professional results.....so whichever color you prefer (or a mixture of the two), it should complement your skin tones nicely.

OR, you could go to a makeup counter at the mall and have someone "type" your skin there. Knowing your undertones is everything...sometimes it takes a professional to tell us what that is...and how to best work with it.

It isn't enough to find a shade "light" or "dark" enough for your skin. The coverage, texture, and undertones can make or break a foundation on your skin. I think that's why I like the Dermacia so much.....it's extremely forgiving, the coverage is beautiful, and you can experiment to your heart's content.

May I make one suggestion? It sounds like your hair color could be part of the problem. The skin tones as you describe them don't "click" in my head with the dark burgundy hair. It may be that you should confirm this with a professional hairstylist. Even having the perfect foundation will not produce the results you want, if it's paired with a hair color that washes you out.....and it sounds like this hair color may be doing just that.

Wishing you all the best -

I noticed that I come across as very pale in photos. I want to change my foundation and powder. Ideas? Advice?

I think the best thing to do is go to a cosmetic counter in a department store or Merle Norman where they can point you in the right direction as to the color you need to use. Ask them to do a color test on you. You shouldn't go lighter or darker than your skin tone. It is sometimes hard to figure out what your skin tone is in some stores.

I noticed that I come across as very pale in photos. I want to change my foundation and powder. Ideas? Advice?

I recently started using that Almay foundation. I think maybe you need to use the light/medium shade instead of the light shade. That foundation has a SPF of 15. While using moisturizer or foundation with SPF is best....you need to protect your skin...it has its cons though. The active ingredient in the SPF...usually Zinc Oxide...can make your skin appear whiter than normal in photos from the flash's reflection. If you know you're going to be photographed...like a wedding or party...I wouldnt use any SPF. I definately think if you're that pale you should at least use a powder bronzer to warm up your skin. Apply where the sun naturally hits up face...bridge of nose, apples of cheeks, chin.

If you're still having a problem I would go get colormatched at a upscale makeup counter like Prescriptives....if you cant afford their foundation ask for a sample...take to the drug store and match that to what foundation suits your skin(for oily, dry, etc.)

Good Luck!

I noticed that I come across as very pale in photos. I want to change my foundation and powder. Ideas? Advice?

Chanel...or Dior....both excellent

I noticed that I come across as very pale in photos. I want to change my foundation and powder. Ideas? Advice?

Loreal Casting creme gloss?

Has anyone used this hair dye?

If so how well has it worked for you? I want to dye my hair a med to dark brown because my hair is turning orangy from previous blonde colour. thanks

Loreal Casting creme gloss?

Loreal hair products have always been my favorite and trusted brand in terms of coloring and doing hair dye..the color of my hair done with Loreal usually shines out and it lasts longer than cheaper brand. And one thing that i like most about it is it doesn't dry my hair after the treatment.

Loreal Casting creme gloss?

different things work differnetly for different ppl. you could try it and see but none of these things are the same for anyone. its a trial and error world.

LOREAL COLOR PULSe????

i have black natural hair color. if i buy the blonde temporary non permanent color pulse, will my hair get blonde or what. i know what youre going to say, you have to bleach it i know. but what happens if i just put the blonde on my black hair. will it just stay all the way black or will it go blonde. thanks...

LOREAL COLOR PULSe????

Fistly Loreal Color Pulse is a level one temporary hair color that washes away in 8-12 shampoos or less. With that being said it has no peroxide. Haircolor that does not have perioxide cannot lighten hair. If you use Loreal Color Pulse in blonde on your naturally black hair you will have the same result as if you where to merely shampoo or condition your hair. Your color will be black. Color Pulse is great for those who want to get rid of grays or simply darken it. Your hair is already a level 1 black so there is only room for lightening it. Ask yourself do you really want blonde hair and are you willing to touch up your roots every two weeks or even weekly in some cases. You have to do a double process bleach blonding to get the blonde result you want. The best bleach blonding product for you is Clairol Born Blonde Maxi. It takes black hair and makes it blonde without the unwanted brasiness. Before coloring safety first do the allergy test so you won't develop an allergic reaction and mix the color carefully so you don't wind up orange. Also I know it is tempting but never use peroxide on eyebrows or eyelashes because it is so dangerous so be careful. But if you want lighter eyebrows for that authentic look just bluck your eyebrows very thinly and draw the plucked areas with an eyebrow pencil( in light brown or blonde) for a natural feel and look. Also so you don't looked washed out due to your new blonde always use makeup and foundation and a matte mousse with a built in bronzer to give you that summer tanned look. Also use the smoky eyeshadow to give your eye that smoky look. And use a deep pink lip gloss with a lip liner to give your lips that extra umph. I personally recommend maybelline or loreal makeup because you get a lot of bang for your buck. Anyway now moving on Sometimes really dark hair needs two bottles of bleach blonding to achieve the ultimate blonde result. But not in all cases see how light your hair will be after an hour and if it is not light enough wait a couple of days before using the second maxi. After bleaching use a toner and you are good to go. After you have bleached your hair nourish your hair by doing daily condtioning treatments. Also mayonaise and olive oil are key indgridients for keeping bleached hair shiny and healthy. Also to keep your bleached hair vibrant use either the pantene pro v Blonde expressions or the John Frieda Sheer Blonde( Platinum to Champagne) Shampoo Condtioner and color glaze system. With these tips you will look your best. Basically to lighten hair always use a level 3 permanent color and it is possible to go from a level 1 black to a level 17 lightest blonde possible.

LOREAL COLOR PULSe????

No. Go to a salon and have it stripped, but it will dry it out and be hard to maintain.

LOREAL COLOR PULSe????

i dyed my hair before. my hair is naturally black but i dyed it blonde. it was a permanet color but then it didnt turn out blonde...it was like a redish brown. im not really sure about temporary though.

Loreal Paris Color Pulse???

I Have A Few Questions To Be answered...

1. Does Color Pulse Work?

2.Can You Dye your hair an opposite color like from black to blonde.

3. About how much is it and Where can you buy it, like what supermarkets ETC. I LIve in LA.

4. Whats A Good haircolor if your skin is tan and your hair is black.

5. What color should my brother dye it. hes 15 and want to test it out and use it. hes tan also with black hair.

Loreal Paris Color Pulse???

1. Does Color Pulse Work?

Yes, but it's not as vibrant as it looks in the advertisements. Unless your hair is blonde or light brown, the color will only tint your hair (and will probably be the most visible in sunlight).

2.Can You Dye your hair an opposite color like from black to blonde.

No you cannot. You have to bleach your hair. You can't even dye it blonde with regular permanent dye, much less Color Pulse.

3. About how much is it and Where can you buy it, like what supermarkets ETC. I LIve in LA.

Usually $5.99 at Walgreens.

4. Whats A Good haircolor if your skin is tan and your hair is black.

Use the three shade rule. Never dye your hair more than 3 shades lighter or darker than your natural color.

5. What color should my brother dye it. hes 15 and want to test it out and use it. hes tan also with black hair.

Auburn, maybe?

Loreal Paris Color Pulse???

1. Yes it works. my sister has used it.

2. Yes You can i suppose

3. I dont know never purchased it

4. Reddish Brown

5. Well light brown or ask him if he wants to go dark blonde. LOL

Loreal Paris Color Pulse???

yes, it works. but no, you can't dye your hair from black to blonde. you can't dye any color hair blonde without bleaching it.

but I used to get it at walmart.

Loreal Paris Color Pulse???

1. no

2. only if you bleach it first

3.he-lo wally world ( wal mart)

4. ash brown with light rown highlights

5. he should get super dark purple highlights

answer my question at my profile, i havent gotton any answers

Loreal Paris Color Pulse???

1. yes it does work I have used it many times. It isnt permanent but it looks great and is not damaging to your hair.

2.no you cant dye your hair from black to blonde. I had to do this and the only way to do it is to first bleach your hair and then add color. the lighter your hair is before you dye it, the more intense the results will be. I would recomend bleaching your hair first, it can be some what damaging to your hair but if your hair has never been dyed before it should be perfectly ok. there are tests you can do before bleaching to see the affect it will have on your hair. but there is no dye that will take your hair from dark to light.

3. it is about $6 and you can buy it pretty much anywhere I bought it at K-mart.

4. Light brown would look great and it would highlight your dark skin.

5. Well again he would have to lighten it first but I would say light brown also.

Loreal superior preference les true brunettes UL63?

I bought this hair dye my natural hair color is medium brown and since being out in the sun it has blonde orangy highlights at the tips. if i use this hair dye will it make my hair more orange? or would it be the " ultra light brown gold" color that it says !?!? please help!!

Loreal superior preference les true brunettes UL63?

Store bought hair colour uses a 20 volume peroxide, which means it will only lighten your hair 2 levels. It says it lifts"up to 3 levels" on the box, but in my experience, it doesn't. Medium brown lightened 3 levels, is only a light brown/dark blonde. And anything around that level is going to be very brassy. My advice is this: take one tsp of the peroxide and mix it with one tsp of the colour, and do a strand test. I know it's time consuming, but it may save you a trip to the hairdressers to fix a huge mess.

With loreal color pulse what are the effects?

i have dark brown hair like some people think it's black - but it's not- %26amp; i bought iced coffee buit then i realized it didn't say for my hair color- i'm "scared to do it because i don't want to dye my hair or whatever just temporarily

i never had my hair colored before, so does it wash out %26amp; would ice coffe look terrible on dark hair? let me know what happened if u tried it

With loreal color pulse what are the effects?

If your hair is that dark -- don't even bother, the color won't show.

My hair is also such a dark brown people think its black. I've tried this very same product, and nobody saw any difference. It was a waste of my money. All it ever did was wash out in a few shampoos.

With loreal color pulse what are the effects?

You could end up with a reddish tint, it will eventually wash out

With loreal color pulse what are the effects?

I just used the loreal color pulse wild cherry 3 days ago. It is already starting to fade pretty well and I have only washed it 2 times. I am a natural redhead and my hair takes color very well, though even permanant dyes wash out of my hair (even if it takes a while). Dont be scared, it is temporary and have fun with it... its only hair!

Is it okay to dye it again?

on Friday, I used the loreal color pulse mousse in a colour that barely had an effect on my hair so i bought a new lighter that will for sure have an impact, but is it okay to use it again so soon?( today's sunday)

Is it okay to dye it again?

its fine if you dont have heavily damaged hair.

i've stripped my hair and dyed it twice in the SAME DAY, which i know is a HUGE NO NO, but i had no problems.

=]

Is it okay to dye it again?

It is okay but it is going to dry your hair out, possibly severley. Suggest conditioning it well for the next couple of weeks, then if you must, try it again.

Is it okay to dye it again?

it's okay, best of luck. have fun ! %26amp; good luck.

How can i do it???

im a guy and my hair is real short but my bangs are almost to my eyes and the rest of my hair is about the same length......... i just had it texturized yesterday.... what can i do to make it not frizzy and split ends ... i try and take good care of it by not hot showers cutting back on the combing i use Equate Vitamin Shampoo and Loreal Preference conditioner .... its not working what can i do????

How can i do it???

try a really good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, there are alot to choose from but here are a few i like

loreal artec smoothing

loreal natures therapy mega moisture (you can buy it at sally beauty supply)

or for a good drugstore brand try aussie sydney smooth or loreal vive smooth intense there both great at stopping frizz

good luck!

How can i do it???

Maybe you are doing too much for it. I never use a conditioner on my hair anymore. I've got great hair. I think a conditioner made my hair lifeless. That's why I stopped. Brushing your hair is very good. They even brush horses down and look how beautiful they are. Some people brush 100 strokes a day. Moderation is always safe. Extremes are not alway good. I never heard of anyone having their hair texturized. If you are a healthy person you are probably worrying too much over your hair.

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know where I can get this dress?

Heather Locklear is wearing a cute little black dress in the latest Loreal hair color commerical (the one with Eva Longoria) and I wondered if anyone has a clue where to get a dress like it? I know it's a long shot, but thought I'd ask......

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know where I can get this dress?

century 21

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know where I can get this dress?

If you can't get it on Ebay then I have no clue.

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know where I can get this dress?

nope

Anti dandruff shampoo?

well i bought a loreal elvive anti-dandruff shampoo (the one in the light blue bottle), but dont have dandruff, i bought it because it says it is for oily hair, and i do have oily hair. is this bad? is it bad to use anti danddruff shampoo if u dont have dandruff?

Anti dandruff shampoo?

Well...yes and no. Dandruff shampoos should only be used if you have dandruff, but this will get rid of your oily hair problem.

Some people use it to take dye out of their hair and they're fine, so why not use it anyway?

What is this song and who sings it?

it's from a loreal hair dye commercial i think? and it has scarlet johansson in it and she has blonde hair.. i really like the song

What is this song and who sings it?

How does the song go no lyrics no name

What is this song and who sings it?

how does it go

How do i go to this shade of red?

okay, well my hair is this color http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w35/e... except with more blonde at the top and some brown coming in, because that's my natural color.

i want to get my hair like this http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w35/e...

so what products am i going to have to use other than hair color, because i've got it.

what am i going to have to use to lighten it up?

please dont say that loreal hair color because i used that before and all it did was put a bunch of blonde in my hair.

so anyways, please please please please help me

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do i go to this shade of red?

go to a salon and give them the pic they can match it real good!!

How do i go to this shade of red?

i agree with the first person

What is the best color dye to use to go from dark brown to a light - medium blonde?

I dyed my hair dark brown a couple months ago it's orginally medium blonde. I'm sick of the keep up of dark hair so I want to dye it back close to my natural color. I don't want to go to a salon and just use an at home kit. I tried a champagne blonde dye by Loreal and it just lightened my roots but nothing else...what brand/color would be best to use?

What is the best color dye to use to go from dark brown to a light - medium blonde?

Depending on the depth of the shade of brown you might not be able to use an at home dye. It is hard to cover dark dye and have it look natural. Try going with a dark blonde that is made from natural ingredients. Check at a beauty supply store to see if they have any recommendations.

What is the best color dye to use to go from dark brown to a light - medium blonde?

light blonde hair dye

What is the best color dye to use to go from dark brown to a light - medium blonde?

well, you really cant do anything unless you buy a box of dye, or have someone do it,,,it would be allot easier

What is the best color dye to use to go from dark brown to a light - medium blonde?

I say go to sally's and get ion u will save money rather than getting a box of dye sallys have better products and for cheap ask them to help u ,u need to start from the back and work it up u need to get the lightest color if ur hair is dark .U can also try highlighting ur hair it will also make ur hair look lighter than put a toner in it.

What is the best color dye to use to go from dark brown to a light - medium blonde?

Get it done professionally. It may cost more but it will save your hair. You can always go to the beauty school if you want to be cheap about it. Good luck!

Really stubborn gray hairs: What hair colorist product works best?

My mom has some really stubborn gray hairs at the top of her head. I bought her some time ago Loreal Excellence Cream, even thought, it worked very well compared to others, the gray hairs are still visible. What other product you consider works better?

Really stubborn gray hairs: What hair colorist product works best?

Go to a professional. You will get much better results. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Really stubborn gray hairs: What hair colorist product works best?

Clairol L'Image.

What shampoo should i choose...?

i have thick wavy sort of dry and poofy hair... i want smooth silky and shiny hair..

A: Dove

B: Tresemme

C: Sunilk (if u choose this one put pink bottle or green bottle)

D: Herbal Essences

E: Aussie

F: Garnier Fructis

G: Loreal

H: John Freida

only the one's i listed plz or if u have a different one ONLY from Walmart..

What shampoo should i choose...?

loreal , garnier or sunsilk pink

What shampoo should i choose...?

Aussie

Garnier Fruciies

Those are the ones I have had best experience with.

What shampoo should i choose...?

I too have thick curly hair, that is rather poofy. I use Garnier Fructis, and I use a CHI straightner to help smooth it out and make it shiny and silky!

What shampoo should i choose...?

I have hair that matches the description of yours. I recommend these:

Herbal Essences Drama Clean Shampoo or Aussie Sydney Smooth with

Aussie Moist Conditioner or Garnier Fructis Sleek and Smooth

Followup with the leave in John Freida Spray. A john freida smoothing shampoo would also be a good choice, but pricier than the others

I find Dove and Loreal to be drying and have not tried Tresemme or Sunsilk

Try makeupalley.com for reviews to make your decision. If you really can't decide, narrow it down to 2 shampoos and conditioners each, buy them, and just try out different combinations or routines until you find one that works.

What shampoo should i choose...?

Pantene Pro V is the ONLY drugstore brand that is the best for any type of hair from walmart....if you want smooth, silky and shiny hair, you need to invest in products that do NOT exist in Walmart.

You need to invest at least a good $100 or more in a great flat iron, $50 should be the minumum if you can't go over $100. Only because ceramic plated irons are the best in hair protection while you are flat ironing your hair. Also, a hair serum that will protect your hair while you are straightening your hair. Like KMS Silker Therapy Plus or BioSilk Silk Therapy, at least $15-20+

How do you convince a parent into letting you dye your hair?

I want to dye mine purple using Loreal Color Pulse, but she won't let me. If anyone can give me some tips as to convince her that it won't damage my hair and that it washes out fairly quick, that'd be awesome!

How do you convince a parent into letting you dye your hair?

I actually used that color twice: once to color my tips and again to do a little two-toned style, but I admit getting my mom to agree in the first place was pretty difficult. You need to make sure she knows that it'll only be in for 1-2 weeks or so. Also let her know that it's YOUR hair and if anything goes wrong, or if it turns out looking bad, YOU are the one who's going to have to live with it. Just talk to her and be honest about WHY you want to color it purple. Hopefully she'll come around. Mine did.

P.S. The color really comes out as a dark burgundy, but it's still stunning.

How do you convince a parent into letting you dye your hair?

well of course a mom wont let you dye your hair PURPLE! its common sense.

How do you convince a parent into letting you dye your hair?

the plum purple color comes out more red than purple its like a red violet. my friend dyed her hair with that color once.yeah the color pulse washes out! it stays for 1-2 weeks.

also you can say that ur sick of ur hair color now. thats what i said and i had brown hair with grown out highlights and my mom let me dye it red so try one of those

How do you convince a parent into letting you dye your hair?

well i cant convince mine lol

How do you convince a parent into letting you dye your hair?

Your a teenager, just do it behind your mom's back without thinking about the consequences and suffer later. That's what I always did. Have fun!

How do you convince a parent into letting you dye your hair?

Why don't you two compromise and get a colored mousse instead. They have all kinds of products at the beauty supply store that wash out in the first wash.

How do you convince a parent into letting you dye your hair?

tell them that you wanna, but ask if you can do wash out so you can see what it looks like but if you dont like it will was out in ab out 3 weeks and if they say 3 weeks is too long tell them it only last a week.

How do you convince a parent into letting you dye your hair?

just to tell you, this girl at my school tried it, and it looked really bad. anyways, i would just tell my mom its a one time thing (even if it isn't you can deal with it later) and that it will come off in two weeks. plus that stuff isn't like bright purple, so its not that bad. if that doesn't work, try making a deal out of it. "if i make a 95 on my history test, can i do it?" or maybe like "if i don't text all the time for two weeks, can i?"

good luck

閳?br>How do you convince a parent into letting you dye your hair?

u dont... its purple!! maybe you should try using a natural color

Mention the cost of these cosmetic brands in big bazaar also advise which one is better for stong ha

loreal elvive with pearl glosss

himalya protien shampoo -all types

sauve naturals for longer hair

dove haircare products for strong hair

revelon flex

Mention the cost of these cosmetic brands in big bazaar also advise which one is better for stong hair?

I would go with the L'Oreal or Dove, definatley forget the Sauve and Flex YUCKY!!! don't know about the himalaya stuff

I need to find a non-permanant haircolor?

I need to dye my hair a plum/purple color (as a costume) for a couple of days. Does anyone know of a nonpermanant haircolor that will wash out after a couple of days? Loreal color pulse has a nice plum shade, but it lasts 8-10 shampoos, and I'd rather not go to work on Monday with purple hair? Has anyone used it? Any other suggestions?

Please don't suggest a wig :)

I need to find a non-permanant haircolor?

sometimes they have hair rinses. i think those are non-permanent. and they also have halloween hair spray that turns your hair purple...dont know where you would find it at this time of year though

I need to find a non-permanant haircolor?

Clairol Natural Instincts

I need to find a non-permanant haircolor?

Hey...sorry i dont know if this will help but at any local drugstore you could just ask someone who works there and they should tell you which to but!

I need to find a non-permanant haircolor?

Try using a darker shade or put the same color w/different base..

I need to find a non-permanant haircolor?

Check with your local beauty supply store. They have non-permanent rinses, and could help you to get the right shade for your hair color.

I need to find a non-permanant haircolor?

L'Oreal Colour Pulse.

It's a non-permanent hair mousse that comes out in 9-10 washes.

I need to find a non-permanant haircolor?

Any semi-permanent color will last 4 to 6 weeks. This is because semi-permanent color is mixed with 10 volume peroxide. Call a Sally's Beauty Supply and see if they carry a color spay that will wash out. I don't know of a weekly "Roux" rinse that is a plum color. A "Roux" rinse will wash out the next time you shampoo. (Vegetable Dye.)

I have been doing hair for over thirty years.

Hope this helps.

I need to find a non-permanant haircolor?

well non-permanent hair dyes usually leave you hair with a funny color when you wash them out. and why do you want purple hair???? oh well i think that natural hair is the best.

Dandruff Help???

I always get dandruff after I wash my hair and I put moisturiser on the bits at the front and it makes it invisible. Even though I used loreal anti dandruff shampoo it doesn't work very well.

I don't use head %26amp; shoulders because it bleaches the colour out of your hair!

Is there a solution to my annoying problem that is free or cheap for teenagers?

Dandruff Help???

Head and shoulders bleaches the hair??? odd thing to hear. But, try T-tree oil and T-tree shampoo. Theres medicated shampoos like Polytar that is very effective. xx

Dandruff Help???

Thankyou xxxx Report It

Dandruff Help???

selsun shampoo....costs a bit but you only use it twice a week...works too.

Dandruff Help???

Try T-Gel , supposed to help (medication from chemist)

Dandruff Help???

Try neutrogena T-Gel shampoo. It smells bad when it goes on but it really works well. Your hair doesn't smell after! You need to do it for a week or 2 before it sorts it out but then you can use your normal shampoo for a while until it comes back!!!

Dandruff Help???

oilatum, its amazing xx also u can get it from ur doctor x

Dandruff Help???

You might be mistaking dandruff for conditioner that hasnt been washed out. So make sure you do wash it out properly.

If thats not the problem, you might need to get a medicated dandruff shampoo from the pharmacist. It should clear up in a few weeks.

Dandruff Help???

Dandruff can be confused with dry skin. I don't believe that Head and Shoulders works very well and the best thing to do with dry skin is to keep hydrated by drinking 2l of water a day, wash your hair in a low-soap formula and use a hydro-retaining conditioner.

Dandruff Help???

that shampoo- their slogan is "Don't wear black without the blue" maybe its like Selciun Blue? Celcium Blue?

Dandruff Help???

yes! apple cider vinegar. it is a natural remembdy for dandruff. i get an itchy scalp so i use it. just pour the vinegar on your scalp and let it sit for about 30 mins. then i just shower(wash your hair 2 times to get the vinegar smell out) and you should find your dandruff is gone! dilute the vinegar if the smell gets to you. you may need to repeat this every couple of months

Dandruff Help???

You could have a condition called Seborrheic Dermatitis. No amount of dandruff shampoo will work for that. Try T-gel shampoo. It works for Dandruff too. It smells awful but you only have to use it once or twice a week. Also both dandruff and Seborrheic Dermatitis are worse in the winter. Some people say that you can help dandruff by avoiding hot water while washing your hair. Wash it in room temp. to cool. Cool water also helps keep the color and helps keep hair from drying out. Good luck.

Dandruff Help???

give it a real beer wash and it will look great

Dandruff Help???

t gel- its about 7.99 a bottle but by god does it do the trick! wash your hair with it every day untill it goes then about once a week to keep it at bay

Dandruff Help???

I suffer from Eczema, i cannot use lots of shampoos, and i get very flaky skin on my neck and scalp, i have found that if i use baby oil (can get it cheap from tescos) a couple of times a month, and wash my hair a couple of times afterwards with stuff i can use, it works a treat.

Dandruff Help???

i have my psoriasis and also get my hair coloured and highlighted. i find t - gel the best but find it make hair dry and dull. i used head and shoulders and worked wonders. hairdresser advised not to use for every wash as it dulls the colour if used all of the time.

i find using h %26amp;s like this my hair keeps its colour.

hope this helps

Dandruff Help???

Bits at the front end? That sounds like dermatitis or psoriasis. I had a miserable condition of dandruff and recently found out that it was Psoriasis. Please answer the following questions:

1. Is your dandruff uncontrollable with common non-prescription shampoos?

2. Is the flaking happens in chunks and is more on the hairline (sides) and not on top?

3. Is it showing up on the top-back of ear or on the forehead?

4. Do you have thick darker colored and sometimes itchy spots in your body? This can happen on the back of your palm or on the top of the feet or probably on the crevices of buttocks.

5. Does shiny, discolored, itchy, round spots appear on your body? Mostly you can see this on your armpit.

If you have answered 3 or more questions yes then this may be psoriasis. If you have said yes to 2 questions then it is highly likely that you have psoriasis. Normal physician mis-diagnose and provide you regular dandruff medications that will not work.

Now the bad news: There is no cure for this disease. What ever you do it will back within a week. This is a genetic disorder of body immune system.

Worse news: Psoriasis in many case progressively increases and can show up as ugly reddish spots all over face and body. Many cases it flare up significantly with stress.

Now the good news: It can be controlled to some extend with medications, proper exercise, good eating habits and stress reduction. I am not a doctor, but from my personal experience I recommend the following:

1. Use Nizoral (1% Ketaconozole) shampoo and T-gel tar shampoo - switch between two.

2. Get a prescription for Clobetasol Propionate for your forehead and visible areas.

3. Use Scalpicin Hydrocortisone psoriasis anto-itch treatment for your scalp if it goes out of control.

4. Spend some time doing yoga or meditation or some stress relieving exercise.

Red Pulse=[?

Has anyone ever tried the LOreal paris Red pulse mouse dye? I did it over the weekend I have brown hair it came out really bright but i toned it down by washing it a lot. Did you like it?

Red Pulse=[?

I used it to and I loved it. Mine was really suptle though.

Red Pulse=[?

I didn't use Red Pulse but I did try Funky Cherry. I have dark brown hair and the funky cherry did not show up a lot. So I bleached some highlights and then put the funky cherry on afterwards. Yes, I do like the bright red color. I think funky cherry is similar to red pulse, except that red pulse is for lighter brown hair.

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

i have a real full head of frizzy thick long hair. it used to be curly but has gone frizzier over the years. ive tried loreal, pantene, john frieda, frizz ease and most of the other well known highstreet brands. anyone know anything which really works?

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

herbal essence

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

I would suggest dove. Thats what I use and it works miracles for me!

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

fredric fekkai olive oil. it REALLY works. it makes my hair soft and shiny and FRIZZ FREE. love it!

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

Treseme!

Get the Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner

Espically the conditioner it's so amazing!

Leaves the hair feeling so soft %26amp; smooth.

And it's really cheap for a big bottle.

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

Herbal Essence

http://www.herbalessences.com/us/collect...

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

http://www.lorealparisusa.com/women/sham...

i use the same thing cus i had thick and frizzy pooooffy hair it tames my frizz and my hairr iss perfext now use it only that and nothing else for a while and you wil se results(:

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

Well I know that either Dove shampoo and conditoner really works but a really good one is SunSilk I am really frizzy hair to and both of them are great!

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

I have really thick, long and frizzy hair too. I love what Head and Shoulders does to my hair. It's not just for dry scalp anymore! You can buy it for all different kinds of hair. It tames my frizzy and thick hair and leaves it shiny and healthy! I love it! I switch from that and Sunsilk Anti-poof. It is made for exactly that. I always switch my shampoos because once your hair gets used to something, it stops reacting like it used to. So I'd suggest Head and Shoulders and Sunsilk Anti Poof!

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

Garnier Fructis. (: You will probably need 'Sleek %26amp; Shine', but 'Curl %26amp; Shine' would be best because its for curly hair, which you said you have(?). There is also a hydrating one, which would also be good because frizz is caused by dry hair. Get the shampoo, conditioner, and leave in.

Also, Loreal Vive Pro is good. They have different shampoos%26amp;conditioners specifically for almost all hair types. Other suggestions: Tresseme (I love their products), Sunsilk (I just use the 24/7 creme, but just that works well %26amp; my friend uses it and says it works well), %26amp;Dove (I heard it works well).

Also, you said just "shampoo". Perhaps you should condition also; if not, at least get a leave in.

Hope this helps %26amp; good luck!

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

my family has the same kind of hair. One thing to do is not wash your hair every day, you'd be surprised how long you can get away with it.

Shampoo isn't the problem, it's what you do after you wash your hair that is the problem. After shampoo and conditioner, put another handful of conditioner in your hair and leave it. Don't touch it too much, either when it is wet or after it dries.

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

Redkin Fresh Curls shampoo %26amp; conditioner (found in salons)

Towel dry then apply: "SoftSheen-Carson Care Free Curl GOLD Instant Activator" (found in most grocery/drug stores in the ethnic section. I am caucasian but this stuff works great on my hair %26amp; is not greasy).

The real key is a somewhat heavy conditioner %26amp; ALWAYS condition!

Don't know if you blow dry but it's a no-no on curly %26amp;/or frizzy hair! Only makes it much worse %26amp; diffusers don't really help either.

Hope this helps!

EDIT:

Rachel above mentioned the need to switch up products %26amp; I have to agree! I switch quite often but always fall back on the above combo as they work really well for me.

Whats the best shampoo for really thick frizzy hair?

Okay, your not going to find a good shampoo or conditioner at the drug store. Go to a salon or beauty supply and try out Redken's Smooth Down, or Fresh Curls or Bedheads Catwalk- curls rock. Catwalks Curl amplifer works really well as a styler. But those shampoos are really nice for curly hair.

What is the best shampoo?

i have thick wavy sort of dry and poofy hair... i want smooth silky and shiny hair..

A: Dove

B: Tresemme

C: Sunilk (if u choose this one put pink bottle or green bottle)

D: Herbal Essences

E: Aussie

F: Garnier Fructis

G: Loreal

H: John Freida

only the one's i listed plz or if u have a different one ONLY from Walmart..

What is the best shampoo?

pantene.

What is the best shampoo?

pantene is the best of those but chrome from beauty shops works the best

What is the best shampoo?

herbal essences

What is the best shampoo?

Honestly it's Nexxus and Im pretty sure you can find it @ walmart but its expensive but well worth it, next up is pantene then John Freida

What is the best shampoo?

Sometimes the better shampoos bother people. I get pimples on my head from the expensive shampoos and conditioners, even the salon ones. I use plain white rain, because it is a basic shampoo and conditioner, and does not cause this. Good luck.

What is the best shampoo?

I will put them in order from the ones I like most to least.

Herbal Essence

John Freida

L'oreal

Sunsilk (Green Bottle)

Dove

Garnier Fructis

Aussie

I've never had Tresemme. I LOVE Herbal Essence. It works wonderfully for any hair type. I don't like Aussie. Some guy told me it made my hair smell like vodka and I personally hate the smell. It didn't make my hair feel good at all. Garnier didn't work very well for me either. John Freida works very well. I love that one as well. The rest are decent but not great. Good luck! =)

I need your knowledge!!!!?

ok so my hair is dry, split ends, puffy, out of control, and in need of help.

its very damaged. my regular routine is i just put some kind of hair product to weigh it down.

but when i get it dry and stuff its so lifeless. i want it to have radiance, shine, and be silky.

i want to style it naturally without any chemicals, but it gets all poofy! its short.

im looking for a sahmpoo/product that will give it a boost of life.

any recomendations? ive tried pantene and loreal products%26amp; they dont work! :[

please help!

I need your knowledge!!!!?

Pantene didn't work because the conditioner have like 3 alcohols in them which damage your hair even more.

First, get your hair trimmed every 6 weeks, I suggest you get the ends trimmed now.

Try washing your hair every other night with Dove Advanced Care Therapy shampoo and conditioner and rinse your hair with cold water right before you get out of the shower. When you get out, use a little bit of TRESemme Anti-Frizz Secret Smoothing Creme. Let your hair airdry and then when it's about 85% dry, blow dry the rest dry on the lowest heat setting. Right before you blowdry it, use a little bit of TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protective Spray.

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a...

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a...

This takes time to see major results, so be patient. Also, don't brush or comb your hair when it's wet, it damages it and makes it really frizzy.

I need your knowledge!!!!?

Check out the following web site

I need your knowledge!!!!?

u should get ur hair done by a salon wher they can suggest some kind of product, and tell u how 2 use it correctly

I need your knowledge!!!!?

Oooh... Sounds bad.... I'll try to help.

First, get a hair cut for the split ends, if they are really bad, get maybe an inch off?

Buy Frizz control Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave In Spray and anything else for frizz.

Deep Condition it.

Umm, maybe Herbal Essences? My hair is wavy, and usually hair that is wavy/curly is a little frizzy so im going to try Herbal Essences, I've heard its good.

Maybe go to the hair salon? They could help for sure!

I need your knowledge!!!!?

OMg your hair sounds like mine!!! and i use Dove advanced care (dark blue bottle) and it works wonders i tried pantene and it just dried out my hair so yeah i would recomend it and then if you are going to straighten your hair and stuff use a straightning oil so it doesnt get that damaged and straightens easier!! oh yeah but first go to the hairstylist and get your ends cut

I need your knowledge!!!!?

I used to have that same problem. You should try optimum care shampoo %26amp; conditioner , motions and infusium 23 there all work really good for natural hair. You might want to cut your split ends. Try carrot oil made by organic root sitmalor it is great for damaged hair.

I need your knowledge!!!!?

i like you have short dry poofy hair. i use garnier fructis shampoo and conditioner, and after i wash my hair i towel dry and use jhon friedas frize ease. just a bit the i blow dry with a normal brush(one with holes in the back behind the bristles so air can pas through) on a low heat. if you want volume blow dry your roots upside down firt with a bit of mousse.

I need your knowledge!!!!?

First you should go to a salon, tell them exactly what you have said here. They will trim the ends and a proper hairdresser can thin your hair so that you won't have such poofyness.

You might still need some products, but your hair wont be looking lifeless any more.

Which make up/foundation does not look like a mask?

I know there are tons of foundation questions out there, but i still need to know.

I use both powder and cream foundation by loreal, and it always seems like i have a mask on, even if i only use a tiny bit. i also have tiny hair in my face, which i dont want to remove and it always seems as if the makeup excentuates those hairs.

also, whats the "bare minerals" everybody seems to be talking about?

thanks a lot for your help!!

Which make up/foundation does not look like a mask?

honestly,i get that feeling too. so i've been using tinted moisturizer.

it's amazing, it blends your skin really well and just feels like you're weraring lotion.i love it!

Which make up/foundation does not look like a mask?

You should post this question on my site, you'll get a lot of answers.

Which make up/foundation does not look like a mask?

try neutrogena clean make up! it blends so easily and looks natural

personally i dont like bare minerals because it makes your face look shiny... what it is is loose powder. and its supposed to be good for your skin

Which make up/foundation does not look like a mask?

I use loreal true match and it works perfect for me. I am blond and also have those little hairs on my face. True match covers them completely. It might be possible that you are applying the makeup wrong. Make sure that you moisturize first, let it dry and then apply the makeup. I use my fingers, but everyone is different. I tried bare minerals for a while. I didn't like it. I thought that it wore off too quickly.

Which make up/foundation does not look like a mask?

No wonder it looks like you're wearing a mask. Use powder OR liquid foundation, not both. If you're using liquid, go over it with a translucent loose powder, very different from powder foundation. I use L'Oreal True Match powder foundation and I love it. Try applying the powder you have with a foundation brush for sheerer coverage.

Which make up/foundation does not look like a mask?

Hey there! I'm light skinned with lovely "peach fuzz" all about my face (gotta love those Irish genes). I hated the "orange mask" look when I try to get foundation so much that I would barely wear make-up. I still don't wear it often, but when I do, I found a foundation made by "By Jove Cosmetics". I barely have to bring it down to my neck because I'm able to match my skin tone almost exactly.

I found them on the internet. I'm not sure if they are going to be in stores any time soon, but I love the stuff!

As far as Bare Minerals, I'm not sure-I've not used it yet... I have some friends who swear by it, but I've also heard that it wears off within hours. I'm not very confident that a powder would have that much staying power. Also, I've noticed that if I went without liquid foundation and just a powder those peach fuzzies would stand up and salute! :)

Good luck!

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

i am a teen and i found a really cool color purple(frosted plum) that i love!!! and it washes out in 10 washes garunteed! its a good brand and inuxpensive(loreal)its not realy that purple, its more dark brown with purple shine to it.my hair is already dark dark brown but parents say NO!!!PLEASE HELP!!!

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

wow that sounds like a really cool color! I'm a mom and my daughter has worn so many different colors I can't count. She's back to her original color and colors it on special occasions. I think that parents freak out because they think it's weird and they don't want the neighbors to think that their kids are strange. Just my theory. i color my hair too. my natural color is dark brown and I color it light golden brown. I've done that since my daughter was in high school. I just got tired of the same old color. I guess I'm a little different from some of the parents. your parents shouldn't worry because it's not permanent and it washes out in ten shampoos. if you can talk them into it, I say go for it!

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

omg im so with you i want to go blonde but my dad is like sorry i dont want you to ruin your hair but its my hair!!! do it anyway im gonna do mine on my birthday!

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

hey hey...yeah i'm in my 20's and still my mom freaks out when i talk about high lights! ha i guess they have thier reasons but maybe start out less drastic

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

well you could try to talk them into it. Try paying for it with your own money if your not already. Give them a good reason to let you do it. Try not to get in trouble but debate with them. Try to tell them something worse that could happen.

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

I never understood the reason why my parents wouldn't allow me to dye my hair either. Especially if it's the wash out kind. Got no help for you on this one. If I were your mom I'd let you. It's a part of self expression.

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

Your parents probably are proud of the way you are and u are a creation of them. Another reason it might be is they fear you rebeling???:S Try to bargin with them or ask for somethin worse then say well u'll satisfy with the non-permanent hair colour. Then there is always rebelion and just dye it anyways

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

well i cant help u there i asked my mom if i can get maroon highlights but she always says NO cause it will hurt my hair and it will start falling and going grey so i have to dye it everytime so i said i wont let my hair get that no way in hell so my advice no but if u really want to ask them if u can use something herbal it wont harm

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

Oh yeah i have heard of that stuff my bff uses it. it really is a good product.

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

kids mostly do a horrible job of coloring hair. it looks steaky, and stains everything your touch. then it grows out forever and leaves a "line" of colors. SO GHETTO

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

not all parents are against our kids getting their hair dye i have a son and when he was 10 years old i allowed him 2 get his hair done bright purple..there was alot of things i asked from him first one 2 wait in till school was out.2.make good grades a's and b's (before)3.and 2 allow my hair dresser 2 do it for him.i didnt want him doing it himself ..3.he had 2 agree 2 get it changed back 2 his regular hair color a week before school started but ever parent makes those choices and try talking 2 them about this dont take off when u start 2 hear something u dont want 2 hear dont yell we tend 2 get upsst and tune u out when that happens (or worst ground u) but i know u have heard this in till u r 18 u cant do it..my son thank goddness out grow getting this done ever summer and alot of differnt colors later. his dad was not happy about it (he is in the marine corp. and alot of that just isnt done) good luck

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

Sorry to say but your parents brought you into this world and are responsible for you until your of legal age. When you turn 18 there isn't a thing they can do about it. You just need to chill out till then and then do what you want to do! I know that's not what you want to hear but if i did that then I wouldn't be helping you. Good Luck and Patience!

Parents!why are parents so against their kids dyeing their hair.?

This is a great question...

and important one

As a busy hair stylist and Colorist in malibu California (and the mom of 2 girls) I spent years trying to teach parents that the least harmful thing a child can do to their body is "color" their hair. It is 100% fully reversible...(you can cut it off, etc) ... and if hair color is the worst thing they ever have to worry about they should consider themselves lucky....

There is just a lot worse things than hair color.

As a teen every child has a phase they go thru where they want to express themself. . . its part of growing up.... some pierce their ears, some color their hair. some get tattoos, some do a lot worse things....

IT IS PART OF GROWING UP, and is fully reversible....

Tell them you are using "semi-permanent color" which means it shampoos out over time....

truthfully...i would highly NOT reccomend any brand that comes in a box.... not because I care about anything other than YOUR HAIR....

those box kits ruin hair...

if your hair is dark brown....just buy some manic panic in purple and put that on a 1 inch piece underneath...at least this way it won't ruin your hair....

I don't understand parents that say something as silly as that, maybe read them what I wrote if you think they might listen....I did the color of thousands of kids your age and about once a month i would come across this same problem, some i could get to understand my theory...some I couldn't . . . .

Its just an artistic expression, that's all......

What is the Best Shampoo and Conditioner?

My hair is very dry... and it's falling ! I need ur help.. I used Loreal but It's not good for me!

What is the Best Shampoo and Conditioner?

NOOOOOOOO do not your pantene, its not at all good for your hair, it coats it in a type of plastic that gives the impression that its soft and silky and shinny when in fact the actual hair is just as damaged as ever underneath it all. Im afraid to say it but cheap shampoos like L'Oreal and pantene are no good for anyone, you have to spend a bit of money to get healthy hair. Head and shoulders is a really good clarifying shampoo as it literally strips the hair but i wouldn't use it as your regular shampoo as its to harsh.

The best advise I can give is buy some shampoo and Conditioner from you local hair dresser's (you don't need to go to the tony and guys of this world - just your local one will be fine) and get there recommendation. Its a myth that they are blagging you to buy the most expensive, they will give u some good advise.

But if you didn't want to go to the hair dresser's I recommend tresemme and the boots natural range, try to change your shampoo every week or so (you dont need 100s just 2 or 3 different type that u can alternate with each week)

Hope this helps!!

What is the Best Shampoo and Conditioner?

Pantene....very good.

What is the Best Shampoo and Conditioner?

I have the same problem and my hairdresser said to try Dove. He said it's great and inexpensive. I'm going to buy it to try.

What is the Best Shampoo and Conditioner?

pantene...

its real good.

my hair has been really healthy since.

no fallings,breakings and over drying.

use it with the conditioner.

you'll be amazed by the immediate results.

What is the Best Shampoo and Conditioner?

U can use Head n shoulders shampoo or pantene shampoo and for conditioner u can try Garnier Ultra Doux (Lemon and olive oil). All these really work.

What is the Best Shampoo and Conditioner?

I've had the best luck with the new Clairol Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo in Coconut. It leaves your hair very soft and smells great!

What is the Best Shampoo and Conditioner?

You sound like you need hair help! OK well I recomend Head And SHoulders to you for a shampoo, and then another type of brand (pantene, herbal essences, hairapy...etc) for the coditioner. THats what my friend does, and she has the most prettiest hair EVER! I also recomend Dove because It repairs hair and leaves silky strands. (Ive used it) Another good brand is probally..........a hairdresser brand. Go to the hair dresser (a salon would be better, or a beauty supply store) and ask the people there what would be the best way to go with your hair. That way they can get a veiw instead of just a discription and give you the best recomendation. Tell us what you do in the end! g'luck

What is the Best Shampoo and Conditioner?

sorry but there is no such thing as a good shampoo at the end of the day they are all made of the same stuff, just different names.

What is the Best Shampoo and Conditioner?

i had also gone through this problem...but when i switched to pantene green it really work try it!

Going blonde at home?

I have med-light brown hair, and I was thinking of lightening it, I don't want to go really blonde, just a dirty, caramel blonde sort of thing.

Is it ok to use a box kit like Loreal feria, garnier etc? Will it work? I only want a few shades lighter, but I have had my hair red with a semi-permamnent in the past year, I can't see any red left but will it show through?

I don't think I can afford to get it done at the salon.

Going blonde at home?

It all depends on several factors...hair texture, condition etc. ..Try going on www.lorrealparis.com ( I'm not sure if that's the correct sight. Try typing lorreal or whatever hair dye brand you'd like to use and search it. You should find a link to the site) These sites are really helpful because they ask you really detailed questions and they show you what the results of your hair color would look like depending on what color you choose. ...It also saves you a lot of time from trying to decide at the store...

Going blonde at home?

I wouldn't recommend putting two products together. Especially hair dye as the chemicals in there could react to each other and will damage your hair.

I reckon you should keep searching around for your desired shade. Try Nice and Easy. They had a Carmel colour. I believe it'll work, if it has some bleach like chemicals in the dye and I doubt it'll show through (referring to the red) .

Be careful and be aware of the pros and cons.

What is your favorite hair dye ladies?

What is your favorite hair dye and why and if so what color did you go from like brown to black , brown to blonde ect. I heard Garnier is good, I have not tried it though. Also I hear Loreal is good too which that has been a mixed bag for me.

What is your favorite hair dye ladies?

i personally would never ever suggest anyone using a box dye they are diluted and not as strong. Meaning they come out diffrent then they should, second they fade really fast.

My fav is wella line. Its professional dye that is actually cheaper then the boxed and it works alot better.

What is your favorite hair dye ladies?

the only one i ever tried is loreal and it was great...

What is your favorite hair dye ladies?

Perfect 10

What is your favorite hair dye ladies?

none....I used to dye my hair w/box color and now my hair is damaged..i didnt realize it till now...my friend goes to the salon to dye her hair, that is y her hair remains so healthy lookin even if she dyes it 3-4 times a yr...=)

Stay away from box color!!

What is your favorite hair dye ladies?

Whoever told you that Garnier is good is playing a terrible prank on you. Garnier is a horrible brand, and their hair dyes make no significant difference in your hair. The best hair dye is Clairol, always go for Clairol!

What is your favorite hair dye ladies?

I've trie Garnier,Clairol,Revlon and Loreal. Loreal works great it doesn't fade near as much as the other brands. I went from dark brown hair to dark red almost a burgundy color. Good luck :)

What is your favorite hair dye ladies?

manic panic!

i went from black to blonde in like 30 minutes,

its' 40 volume bleach in a box though.

but it works super well.

What is your favorite hair dye ladies?

The kind the salon uses you should try it somtime!

What happens when i go to the hair salon? Wellllll.....?

I was walking down the street, minding my own bizniz, and then, as i pass the hair salon, someone yanked open the screen door and pulled me in by the scruff of my neck! Well, needless to say, i was slightly bemused. I was promptly sat down and sprayed with some foul stuff, and a girl with a high, squeaky voice said,' now honey, i'm going to, like, TOTALLY, give you an AMAZING do!' and i'm like...ok. go for it. cuz i didn't make an appointment, and if it comes out bad and you try to make me pay anyhow, i can sue!!! and then she's like,'you are a totally bad person!BAD! and i'm like (whoa, deja vu) DO YOU WANNA MAKE SOMETHIN OF IT??? and she says (you guessed) YES! so, we fight, and she's good, but of course, i'm better. the only problem was, she had those long, fake nails on, and when she gouged one of my eyes out,i got real pissed! Then i poured shampoo in her eyes, but it was Loreal 'no tears',so,foiled again. But then i realized,i can just, you know, leave! so i did.was i right to?

Help me get the red-dye out of my hair?

So about a month ago (January 2008) I dyed my medium brown hair with a few blonde highlights what was supposed to be a dark brown with a slight barely there red undertone. Anyways of course it came out dark red (think almost a burgundy color no orange), well immediately I dyed over it (probably violating some huge rule) with loreal true match dark brown with alittle golden color. It fixed my red problem and I really like it despite it being darker then I orginally thought I wanted but it was close. Anyway now its a month later and its slightly faded but what I really want to know is how to get the red out without destroying my? Any help would be appreciated I want my natural hair color back (medium brown). Suggestions of anything would be helpful (shampoos, strippers, dyes, etc.) I just want the red out and Im afraid to use a stripper becuase I think the red would come out even stronger.

Help me get the red-dye out of my hair?

Okay unfortunatley i noticed thta my green hairdye was fading a while ago, against my will in this case lol, and it was because I was wahing my hair in really hot water. try that and it should fade out more. I also heard (as weird as it sounds) that toothpaste works.

otherwise if your desperat to get rid of this color, you could bleach it blonde and wait for your natural to grow back in

Help me get the red-dye out of my hair?

use color strip.

you can buy it in the store.

it just removes died colors.

Help me get the red-dye out of my hair?

Buy "Hair Oops!"

takes 20 minutes

it shrinks the dye molecules in your hair so small that you can wash them right out

doesn't damage your hair AT ALL

the only bad thing ..it smells like rotten eggs. literally

What is the best natural black hair dye?

I tried a natural black loreal preference, but its fading really fast (however, this could be due to the shamp/cond i was using). I'm not sure if I want to buy that brand again, so I'd like opinions on the different brands you've tried. Please include why you like it, ie: How fast did it fade? Did it dry out your hair?

What is the best natural black hair dye?

There is no such thing unfortunately. You can tell a black hair dye a mile off, sorry, but good luck trying to find one anyway.

I've got naturally black hair and it's lovely and my sister has red hair which is equally as nice but I dye mine red and she dyes hers black! It just goes to show, we all go through stages of wanting something else.

What is the best natural black hair dye?

try henna

What is the best natural black hair dye?

henna dye from lush. luk on da lush webby and see if der is a store near u. their henna dyes last long and are completely natural..deyr great. gud luk sweetii xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

What is the best natural black hair dye?

i think that expensive makes like loreal or nice and easy fade realy fast. im now brown but ive had loads of black colours through the years. i found that the cheaper, less popular ones work the best, like schwartz. some black colours can look like plastic or can dry your hair though.

What is the best natural black hair dye?

use henna dyes. they are natural and add moisture.

you can find them basically anywhere.

What is the best natural black hair dye?

Get a perminent color. But beware black is very hard to get out if you change your mind.

What colour should I die my hair?

I have brownish blondish hair, but I want to go way darker but not like black. And I dont have to much money to go to the salon so I'm gonna dye it myself. I want to use loreal but I'm not sure wat shade. What do you think?

What colour should I die my hair?

I say don't do it-One time i dyed my hair and not knowing which brand was better Loreal or this other brand, my hair had some orange and I mean ORANGE stripes (was doing highlights) - I say get advice from a close friend, sis, even mom But to me blondes who are wanting to go darker not black for say should just dye their hair light brown; light ash brown or use shades that goes with high gloss enamels. Keeps your hair healthier than of just regular use crescendo shades. Check out links below. The second link shows brown shades that are really cute. (sorry having a girly moment ) Hope that helps.

What colour should I die my hair?

DARK BROWN WITH A HINT OF RED

What colour should I die my hair?

Try a warm dark brown. That way it doesn't make your complexion look drained. Loreal Feria has great shades to pick from so I'd stick with that.

What colour should I die my hair?

you should go with dark brown that's my hair color and i like it

What colour should I die my hair?

Puce

What colour should I die my hair?

purple

What colour should I die my hair?

Maybe a medium brown colour or brown lowlights. If you want to go darker, you could do dark brown and you could even add a little black or red or both.

What colour should I die my hair?

brownish blackish

What colour should I die my hair?

if your gonna go "waaay darker" then it shouldent matter because no one will be able to tell the difference. I would just keep what you have.

What colour should I die my hair?

you really shouldn't go more than 2 shades darker than the color you have now. i know you said you want to try loreal, but the clairol site has a great tool, for helping you pick a hair color. i love to play with my hair color, so i use it all the time. BTW, the 2 shades darker or lighter rule, applies to the color you hair is right now, not you're natural color. so you can always go 2 shades darker for now, and trust me that will be dramatic, and then if you still want to go darker, wait 3 weeks and go 2 shades darker again, although the results, more than likely will not be as dramatic as it is was first. For drama the second time, add red to the mix! My favorite color when i go darker, for drama is burgandy! I love the purplish color it gives me hair!

What colour should I die my hair?

dark brown (which looks really good with red and blonde highlights)

What colour should I die my hair?

Just remember that if your get a permit dye the only way to go back lighter is with bleach and it's really hard on your hair. I get a lot a clients with light hair that go darker and then think they can easily get it back to there natural color. I would suggest using a semi-permanent if this is your first time going darker. And even though on the box it tells you how long to leave it on make sure you check it every couple of minutes in the end because if your hair is dry it will suck up the color a lot faster and your ends will get very dark!! Hope this helps!!
