ok so my hair is dry, split ends, puffy, out of control, and in need of help.

its very damaged. my regular routine is i just put some kind of hair product to weigh it down.

but when i get it dry and stuff its so lifeless. i want it to have radiance, shine, and be silky.

i want to style it naturally without any chemicals, but it gets all poofy! its short.

im looking for a sahmpoo/product that will give it a boost of life.

any recomendations? ive tried pantene and loreal products%26amp; they dont work! :[

Pantene didn't work because the conditioner have like 3 alcohols in them which damage your hair even more.

First, get your hair trimmed every 6 weeks, I suggest you get the ends trimmed now.

Try washing your hair every other night with Dove Advanced Care Therapy shampoo and conditioner and rinse your hair with cold water right before you get out of the shower. When you get out, use a little bit of TRESemme Anti-Frizz Secret Smoothing Creme. Let your hair airdry and then when it's about 85% dry, blow dry the rest dry on the lowest heat setting. Right before you blowdry it, use a little bit of TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protective Spray.

This takes time to see major results, so be patient. Also, don't brush or comb your hair when it's wet, it damages it and makes it really frizzy.

First, get a hair cut for the split ends, if they are really bad, get maybe an inch off?

Buy Frizz control Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave In Spray and anything else for frizz.

Deep Condition it.

Umm, maybe Herbal Essences? My hair is wavy, and usually hair that is wavy/curly is a little frizzy so im going to try Herbal Essences, I've heard its good.

Maybe go to the hair salon? They could help for sure!

OMg your hair sounds like mine!!! and i use Dove advanced care (dark blue bottle) and it works wonders i tried pantene and it just dried out my hair so yeah i would recomend it and then if you are going to straighten your hair and stuff use a straightning oil so it doesnt get that damaged and straightens easier!! oh yeah but first go to the hairstylist and get your ends cut

I used to have that same problem. You should try optimum care shampoo %26amp; conditioner , motions and infusium 23 there all work really good for natural hair.You might want to cut your split ends. Try carrot oil made by organic root sitmalor it is great for damaged hair.

i like you have short dry poofy hair. i use garnier fructis shampoo and conditioner, and after i wash my hair i towel dry and use jhon friedas frize ease. just a bit the i blow dry with a normal brush(one with holes in the back behind the bristles so air can pas through) on a low heat. if you want volume blow dry your roots upside down firt with a bit of mousse.

First you should go to a salon, tell them exactly what you have said here. They will trim the ends and a proper hairdresser can thin your hair so that you won't have such poofyness.

You might still need some products, but your hair wont be looking lifeless any more.
