Help!! I dyed my hair and I need to fix it...it looks so bad! What can I do to fix it??

I just dyed my hair and I thought the color would be ok, cuz on the sample it was fine. I bought Loreal Paris Super Blonde. Well I washed it out and it looks really yellow...I don't like the yellow it looks really bad. Does anyone know of how I can fix it to not be so light and yellow??

Well, you didn't bleach it long enough..if your hair was darker to start off..if not the developer was not correct which is also problem with box colors..or if you are pregnant or recently was it could make your hair react different to chemicals ..NEVER EVER use anything from a box that can come from walmart or any other store. Go to a salon and get it fixed. its possible youll have to color it back and bleach it More but you may need a filler. Be very careful dying..blonde turns green really easy!!! go to a pro!

I've done the same thing! Except, my hair came out black (when it was supposed to be dark brown). If you wash your hair a few times, and wait for the color to settle for a couple of days, it might not look so yellow.

The best thing to do is to go to a professional hair stylist and see if there's anything they can do, or if they can at least give you advice. It'll be kind of expensive, but it's worth it. For my hair, I bought a color removal kit at a beauty supply store, but I don't know if it's the right solution for a lighter color.

Well... unfortunately i had this same problem. The next day i got a darker rinse dye. I'm happy that my color is different but sooo glad its not that bright OMG color. Good Luck Sweetie!

Try washing your hair with liquid clothes det....that should take most of it out. Or go to the Salon and let them take a look.

Jen is sounds like you really have got a problem there. All is not lost. there is number on the back of the box and they can tell you some things to help you. or call you local stylist and she or he can help you out of this mess.

Definitely call the helpline # on the L'Oreal box (you can get it from the website if you don't have the box). They can help you. Or see a color specialist at a salon. Good luck, I've had my share of hair disasters : (

Same thing happened to me... I didn't have the money to go to a salon to get it fixed so I deep conditioned it for three days... on and off during the days... then I went and got the hair die that doesn't have ammonia in it and died it again and it has been fine since.
