I'm getting hair dye (blonde) and it says to leave it in for 45-60 min, what would happen if i leave it in for 90-120 min? i most likey will use loreal.

i to have left hair dye in my hair one time for over an hour, # 98 light blonde--- i called loreal and they explained that the process cease to work ofter a set amount of time 45 minit for safty reasons

now om the other hand if you are using bleach blonde, your hair can be damage and the de-activation does not work the same with bleach blonde type hair dye, i think if you did use bleach blonde dye, instead of the regular blonde dye, then the most is damage to the ends of your hair, call the 1-800# on the box just to be safe and see what lorel has to say directly

it is dye right lik e the little box from the store? well if it is nothing will happen. according to the manufactuers directions after that 45-60 minutes the dye no longer works.

If you leave bleach in your hair to long it could damage your hair. your hair could break off or it could just fry your hair. If you want to get it really blonde you should do it in stages. Dye it one day and wait atleast 48 hours and do it again. Don't forget to deep condition your hair. It also depends on your natural hair color and if your hair has been dyed before.

It depends on wether it is a blonde dye containing bleach or just regular blonde dye. I've used both many many times. If it is regualar blonde dye, nothing will happen, however I don't see why you wouldn't just do the recommended amount of time. If it is bleach, you can do some heavy damage to your hair, and your head will get really hot and if it's on the scalp it may burn a little. I'd say just do your best to keep it on for the recommended amount of time which will probably be less than 45-60 minutes.
